My dream in finance is to create the best possible investor experience for the people I serve and care about. I want to help them create the financial security that frees them to focus their time and energy on whatever brings them joy.

That means managing the behavioral sirens that call to us, enticing us to abandon our long-term strategy in search for something better, hotter, newer. This is a temptation we all face as human beings. After all, we’re all striving to be the best and to align ourselves with the best; I know I am.

My goal, then, is to instill greater patience and resilience to promote a long-term investor experience, in order to minimize or simply avoid the behavioral trap. Despite what some say, this remedy has nothing to do with passive versus active investment strategies. It’s rather a matter of philosophy, discipline, and understanding.
